Ingredients:
- 1kg chicken wings or drumettes (halal)
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying
Sauce Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup gochujang
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:
- Mix flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 10-15 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- In a saucepan, mix gochujang, ketchup, honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
- Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until fully coated.
